How to Shipping Route from Guangzhou to Kenya

We have two main sea freight options for your indoor playground equipment.

Route 1: Direct FCL service (Recommended for your large play structures, matrix slides, steel frames) Cargo is picked up from your Guangzhou factory, trucked to Nansha Port. Direct weekly sailings operated by CMA CGM, Maersk, MSC and COSCO head straight to Mombasa Port, the main seaport of Kenya. Port-to-port transit takes around 21–28 days. After clearing customs at Mombasa, containers can be transported to Nairobi via the SGR standard gauge railway, which is safer and reduces bump damage for large playground equipment. The full door-to-door cycle to Nairobi normally takes 28–38 days.

Route 2: Transshipment service via Singapore / Colombo (For LCL consolidated cargo) Ships depart Nansha and transfer cargo at Singapore or Colombo before reaching Mombasa. Port-to-port time is 30–40 days. This choice is cheaper, but extra transfer steps raise the risk of scratching or damaging customized play equipment. We do not recommend this option for your big FEC playground projects.

Our client, based in Nairobi, Africa, operates a sports and entertainment venue featuring arcade games and bowling facilities—a business that has been performing well.

Looking to expand their entertainment offerings, the client decided to open an indoor children’s playground.

Consequently, they reached out to us.

Shortly thereafter, while on a business trip to Guangzhou, they took the opportunity to visit and tour our factory.

The design of an indoor playground is crucial; the choice of colors and style determines whether children will enjoy it.

We work closely with our clients to ensure a thoughtful and well-executed design.

In reality, it is difficult to come up with an ideal design solution in a single attempt.

It requires multiple rounds of communication and experimentation.

We first prepared two design versions for the indoor children’s playground, each featuring a distinct style with bright, clear colors—incorporating the client’s own preferences regarding the playground’s aesthetic.

Through our conversations with the client, we learned about the sports facilities in their local area; we suggested drawing inspiration from the color palette and style found there, as this would make it easier to build the brand's influence.

The client has their own brand, called "Funscape HARGEISA."

We incorporated these elements into the design of this indoor children's playground.

Let me introduce about the structure of this children's amusement park.

To begin, children can climb the stairs to reach the platform level. Notice the unique design of these stairs—they feature a zebra-stripe pattern!

Once on the platform, children can navigate through an obstacle course, then slide back down via either an LED slide or a spiral slide.

There are LED slides, spiral slides, donut slides, leap slides, horn-shaped slides, python slides, U-shaped slides, funnel slides, and more.

Incorporating as many slides as possible helps make the playground even more fun and engaging for children.

Should a client be unable to complete the installation, we can dispatch engineers to the site to assist with the process.
