Qordoba Let You Know How To Build A Sports Entertainment Center - Huaqi Amusement Equipment (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd
What is Sports Entertainment Center?
A sports entertainment centre, also known as an indoor active play center, is a modern type of family entertainment space. It differs from simple soft play areas only for toddlers. It designs different activity zones for visitors of various ages, so kids, teens and even young adults can all find suitable games here.
The space is divided clearly by age and play function. For toddlers under three, there is a gentle soft play zone with low slides, small ball pits and padded floors. It keeps risks low and lets little kids explore freely. Children aged four to eight get classic play areas, including trampolines, interactive projection games, EPP blocks and simple climbing structures. These activities help them build balance and motor skills.
Older kids and teenagers have more challenging zones. Ninja obstacle courses, rope climbing nets, high zip lines and climbing walls are set up for them. These projects test strength, agility and courage. Around these active zones, arcade games such as basketball shooters, air hockey and claw machines are arranged.
A rest and dining area is also prepared for parents. They can sit and watch their children, or order food and drinks during the visit. This centre mixes physical exercise, fun games and social interaction. It brings more value than a regular playground and attracts wider customer groups.
we get the CAD size map from the clients, show us all the size details of the playgound space, such as the length, width, height of the venue space, from the ground to the ceiling height. And mark out the entrance and exis posotion.
If the clients do not have CAD, it is dwg file size map, then PDF format is also fine.
We will check the indoor playground size anc talk with the clients about the general amusement park function and structure.
Since the park theme is sports entertainment, it can also be named as family entertainment center. Based on the client’s site conditions and our own professional expertise, we provide fundamental structural recommendations, followed by the development of a comprehensive design plan for the indoor playground.
For family entertainment centers and indoor playgrounds, the ultimate goal is to attract more customers and achieve profitability. Consequently, the structure and layout of an indoor playground are of critical importance. Key factors to consider include investment costs, the potential number of players, the safety of the play equipment, operational hours, and the rate of repeat visits.
Once the 2D layout structure be confirmed, we will make 3D design for the amusment park.
Many of the various types of equipment found in a family sports entertainment center playground are customized, which necessitates 3D modeling. Only then can the design and rendering of the 3D playground be carried out.
In terms of the overall layout of this sports and entertainment center, visitors begin by purchasing tickets at the reception desk.
They then pass through smart turnstiles to reach the shoe-changing area, where they can store their footwear before entering the family entertainment center. The facility is divided into various play zones. For younger children (aged 1–3 and 3–8), there are dedicated areas featuring sand pits, horn-shaped slides, LED-lit slides, ball-blasting machines, and interactive projection games—all of which are highly popular with this age group. Additionally, there is a trampoline zone equipped with a "Russian roulette" (rotating) wheel, wall-based games, wall-mounted basketball hoops, professional-grade trampolines, balance beams, small-scale climbing walls, and foam pits filled with soft blocks.
While these are standard playground features, we designate this space as a "family sports entertainment center" because, in addition to traditional equipment, it incorporates athletic and challenge-based attractions designed for older children and teenagers—most notably, a diverse array of "matrix" slides. These include horn-shaped, "leap" (steep-drop), avalanche, "devil" (near-vertical), spiral, U-shaped, and funnel-shaped slides, all of which are incredibly engaging for children.
These slides are carefully planned and designed based on the specific dimensions—length, height, and spatial layout—of the venue to ensure maximum safety. Adjacent to the slides, we can incorporate "ninja" obstacle courses and rope-net structures—such as rainbow-colored climbing nets and netted obstacle challenges—tailored for older children and teens. Furthermore, we can optimize the vertical space by installing high-altitude adventure elements, such as zip lines.
Beyond these, rock climbing is a key feature of the center. We offer a variety of climbing options, including soft-padded walls, PVC-surfaced walls, and standalone "magic cube" climbing structures, all of which add a high level of playability and challenge for the children. We can also incorporate "plum blossom piles"—a challenging, elevated play feature equipped with safety ropes. With careful planning, all of these elements can be integrated into the playground.
Furthermore, other highly popular attractions—such as "Mario-style" obstacle wall courses or 360-degree spinning bicycles—can also be added to the indoor playground, depending on the specific site conditions and the client's investment budget.
