What is a Family Entertainment Center (FEC) for Indoor Kids Play

A family entertainment center, often called an FEC, is more than just a basic indoor playground. Regular soft play parks only have slides, ball pits and foam blocks for little kids. But an FEC is a full fun space designed for every member of the family, not just children.

This idea first started in the United States decades ago. Back then, simple play areas were popular, yet parents had nothing to do while their kids played. Business owners saw this problem. They built bigger spaces and added activities for adults and older kids. Slowly, this new type of venue became known as the family entertainment center. Later, this model spread to Europe, Australia, Latin America and other parts of the world.
